I love how Will and Jenny’s Backyard Wedding Photos in the deep heart of East Texas came out!And having the chance to shoot one of my favorite weddings with the amazing Elisabeth Carol was so incredible, I’m honored that she asked me to join her for Will and Jenny’s intimate wedding. Will and Jenny are both Chefs in Austin, Texas (where they met) and they chose to have an intimate wedding at Jenny’s parent’s home in Taylor, Texas with their closest friends and family in attendance. They pulled the chairs from various family member’s homes which added to the very intimate feeling, along with their food, drinks and welcoming feel, it basically felt like a gigantic party! They opted to pay homage to their love for Texas by having a classic Texas beer (Shiner) and common Texas flowers everywhere, they also share a love for music (something that is so common in the Austin area) and so they had Will’s banjo and their record collection (which also served as their guestbook) as a major part of their decor. Their style is something that is so dear to me, because it strongly reminds me of my friends and how we love to get together for a trip to the river every summer!
I truly loved being there and having had the chance to enjoy the wedding day with two people who share a deep love for each other and their families, it was something that I will never forget. Will and Jenny’s wedding was one of my favorites and I’m so happy to be able to share them with everyone!
